About The Department:

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2008 with an undergraduate programme. Ever since its inception, it has been splendid in providing dynamic and quality engineers to the society till date. The PG Programmes include ME - Communication Systems offering high class technical experience to the students. The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department has always been interested not only in updating the curriculum, but also in enhancing the laboratory facilities to cope up with the new developments in the state-of art technologies. 

The Department faculty members are specialized in Analog Electronics, Digital electronics, Signals and system, Advanced Digital System Design, Electromagnetic theory, Control system, Digital Signal Processing, Digital Image Processing, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Embedded system, Nano technology, VLSI technology, Wired and wireless Networking, Radio and Television, Antenna and wave propagation,  Telecommunication, Analog and Digital communication, Linear analog circuits, Instrumentation and Control, Fiber Optical communication, RADAR’s, Microwave engineering, Biometrics, Satellite communication, Mobile communication, PCB Design, Computer Architecture, Computer hardware and interfacing, Fuzzy control and Neural Networks, Software tools like Matlab, NS2, Keil, Spice, Circuit maker, Open source software’s, etc.


  • Practice the ethics of their profession consistent with a sense of social responsibility and develop their engineering design, problem –solving skills and aptitude for innovations as they work individually and in multi disciplinary teams.
  • Communicate effectively and manage resources skillfully as members and leaders of the profession.
  • Be receptive to new technologies and attain professional competence through lifelong learning such as advanced degrees, professional registration, publications and other professional activities.
